Thread: What are the best components/loot for an uber DE-10?

Please forgive my non-crafter experience. I know zero about the crafting bizz. I did some research on the DE-10 here in your forums looking for the best goodies to round up but I still have a few questions.


Aside from the basic resources needed I noted two things:


-2 indentical blaster power handlers

-1 scope


What are the stats on what would be considered "good" power handlers?

Where should I hunt for them?

What stats should I look for in a "good" scope?

Where should I hunt for one?

Can the weapon be made with all of the above PLUS krayt tissue?


I do know that I should use a yellow barrel and use 3 indentical krayt tissues.


Did I miss anything else important or any other enhancers? Thank you for your input.

As long as you get the krayt and barrel, the weaponsmith will handle the rest. ANy WS worth his salt wqill have the primo DE10 resources, and they can genrally craft a better scope than you'll ever loot. As for power handlers, these are made BY the WS WITH the krayt you bring him.

Krayt and barrel, thats it! Oh also, the schematic for it. This is a scroll that gives the WS a 1-use knowledge of how to make a DE10. These can be lootted along with the barrel, or bought from vendors. The WS might also have a few stashed away, but his price will go up for each item thatr he must produce.

Well spoken. I have a few things to add, not as much how to's as just general guidelines for Karbal.


I have made a few DE10s in my time. 4 or so. I would say, that unless you have 80+ Krayt tissue, spending a Barrel and a schem for the DE10 really isn't worth it. Also, about the scope. You are going to have to decide, if you want the gun crafted with an advanced scope or non advanced. The deal is, with adv scope you get better range mods, at a cost to HAM stats. with non adv. it is the opposite.


As already stated, the only items you need to bring are, tissue (3 ident), schem and barrel. On my server (Wanderhome), the schem is roughly 400-600k and the barrel is 800k (white) and anywhere from 1mil+ for a Yellow (depending on demand and whose looking to buy it).

Thx for the advice. I've got a yellow barrel and schem ready. Just waiting to get my hands on some 100 plus krayt tissue .. and then pray for a good damage slice.

Good stuff Fliff, for my scopes, I always use Advanced Zero-HAM scopes, with as much range as I can dd with my leftover points, unless somebody specifically asks for high range or wound, and arent too worried about HAM costs.

The way I see it, might as well add a zero-ham scope, you get a bit better range at no cost!
