Thread: Draft Schem and their numbers change ?

I has begun the long tedious grind to FS Crafting Master, and was wondering... I use a standard crafting macro, that utilizes several crafting tools etc. etc. Nothing strange there. But when I sit and craft, all of a sudden, seemingly without warning, the draft schematic changes number. What was schem number 25 for projectile pistol barrels has now become DLt20a Rifles, while the new number for Proj Barrels are 41.
Is there a patch that has been implemented to prevent us from using said macros ? Very curious, as it really tends to get quite annoying.

suppositly they change only when you get new scematics , but i have noticed changes when i shuttle too .
i grinded to max ep before shuttleing or getting trained

Right.. But this happens on the fly, so to speak. I mean.. I am sitting there, crafting, and all of a sudden, the DLt20a pops up instead of the rifle barrel.. what is that all about ? I have trained no skills, shuttled nowhere, done nothing but craft...

Have you turned off auto-sort datapad inventory in your options menu? And when you open your datapad to draft shematics, click change view at the bottom so you see a list instead of icons and count down from the top beginning with 00, 01, etc. Also if there is a major lag or you get many errors, I found crafting in space aboard my vet reward Sorosuub Luxury Pimp Ship to be the ticket to a fast, lag, and error free grind. I hope this helps, particularly the auto-sort option.

Yes, it seems to driven by the new inventory sorting options... They are changing a lot right now!

I did the auto sort option thing. I turned auto sorting off... Still had problems. I was crafting in the village, where there, atm, aren't that much lag (phase 1). I guess I'll try the sorusuub thing. I just recently got JTL, so I haven't actually been IN my vet yacht... as such. Only travelled in it. WIth the current amount of people in space, I can assume there won't be any lag whatsoever 
About sorting the datapad draft schem, I always thought, that when you sorted it once, you could never count on being able to just go through them as you suggested again. I'll look into it. Thanks for the input.

Lol, I was using a droid in the village at the same time that Adroni was craftingthe last couple times, and I guess when I went to trade in my xp it followed me so it was fairly close to adroni when that happened. Lol, what a sneaky way to keep the competition down.

Well I am glad that little mystery was solved.. I honestly had no clue what was going on.
I did follow one tip from in here tho, and have started crafting in my Sorusuub ship. Lag free, no spamming, no talking... just peace.. and a GREAT view (and no bystanders with cleverly concocted droid schemes
