So i was on TC5 last night. Decided to grab one of each pistol, so that once pistoleer is opened up i can grab novice and start working on it.

Historically in previous blue frog enabled test center servers, the blue frogs gave you roughly average stats weapons. not underpowered, and not the best around.

I start examining the pistols, and i am totally shocked when i see the DE-10 stats. This pistol had a 2.0 speed, 351 min 701 max. If this is an average DE-10, just imagine the damage output from a high-end up, like a 500-600 max damage one on the current live servers.

I'm curious to see if the blue frogs are actually giving average weapons or high-end ones, but i guess we'll never know until we can test Weaponsmith. and we'll never get to craft a DE-10 on TC5, because i don't even want to think about leaving a noob planet yet with how tough things are to kill. DWB will be a suicide mission.

When you compare it to all the other pistols on the frog, the DE-10 is fairly average.

I wonder why anyone will go to the trouble of gathering the loot components to make a DE-10(or any other loot component weapon)after CU to just get an average weapon.

true. other than the "cool factor" of how the DE-10 looks, doesn't seem all that special anymore.

i just wish my Master Pistoleer/BH could use the Intimidator Pistol, but that get's certified for Master Squad Leaders, so don't expect to sell many of those guns, or the Alliance Disruptor (Master Combat Medic)
