I do the same thing when naming...to be honest ive stopped crafting anything now until the CU is out. Im guessing all my current stock will have the wrong names and i really dont want to have to geta CSR to come and rename all 200+ items

I wouldn't put in the stats of an item I was selling. Looks bad in inventory. Gotta keep customers happy.

I've never had a complaint about having the stats in the name of my weapons. My weapons are among the best on the server and I want my customers to see that up front. Especially now with the new vendor search being so cumbersome It makes it easier for people to find what they're looking for.

For this reason, when CU comes I will probably scrap all unsold weapons.

I keep my naming of crafted weapons pretty basic

(Name of Weapon) by Tiger'

Pretty boring, huh?

yeah, i have my "trademark" i use. since i sell all my weapons already sliced, it is pointless to put stats on there. i went the other route, though. i am currently filling my vendors so that there are plenty of every weapon type ready when the CU hits live.

I didn't want to clutter the CU concernsthread with this question.

Since i started WS i've always included the stats in the weapons that I craft. It makes it a lot easier to view in my vendor and also helps to see exactly what the difference is once the weapon is sliced.

ie: Acklay Power Hammer 174-527 5.9 - by Xyrek -

Now with the combat downgrade coming all the stats are going to change on my weapons. I'm not sure if i should change my naming convention so that it doesnt include the stats. If i leave it the way it is now it will be easier to tell what the CU stat change did to the weapon but i don't want customers thinking i'm trying to rip them off when they see the name stats are different from the actual weapon stats.

So i'm kinda torn between changing and not changing. What are other WS doing in this regard?

I suggest you take the stats out but leave your name in there. Let it be your name that attracts the customers from the bazaar and not the stats. If you are among the best on your server then this should work for you.

The way I always make decisions like this is to ask your regulars and then do a few tests of what they suggest and see how it works.
