I have recently just got novice sharpshooter with my Kettemoor character and i was wondering what the best rifle to use for savage quenkers? I can use overchageshot1 with my ion rifle for around 600-1000 damage but when i use my laser rifle which is 4.6 38-401 i do anywhere from 100-2200. which would be better to use. i am always brandied and buffed with the occassional canape. i just want to know what the best rifle to use is. or maybe i should go for a low-speed sliced t21. with like a 5.0-5.5 attack speed. any info would really help. plus i am unsure of what to do. i have around 120k combat xp saved up from grinding all of pistoleer and getting to 1403 in heavy swordsman and i am wondering if it would be best to invest the xp i got into the abilities tree so i can get a better attack speed or if i should just grind til i can get master heavy sword finesse?? And on one last note, i pvp a bit and my master gunfighter defenses dont do **edit**. Is there something wrong. i know that this is probably the wrong forum to put this in but you people in the rifleman forum seem a lot happier than those in the gunfighter forum. its like walking into someone you dont like, just incessant fighting and whining....

I'd stick with the Laser Rifle or possibly a T21, the AP bonus damage you get will pay off in the end. I used a Laser Rifle up until I could get the Cert for the T21 and used a speed sliced T21 for the remainder of Rifleman. Laser Rifles at the time weren't as good on Bria as the T21's damage wise. I'd also get as many boxes as you can in Rifle Abilities for Speed, you won't regret it.
The E11 isn't a bad Rifle either, semi decent damage, faster than a Laser or T21 and Medium AP also. The problem is I've found most smiths don't make them much so you might have a hard time finding one. I have one that is 4.4 speed 197 - 292 damage unsliced unpowered up. At leastI think it is, I'm going off memory here.. hehe!

Ya Im on Kettemoor too and I would go with a Speed T21. I went to intek looked at their T21's and found the lowest speed I coud find. Popped on a 33% Speed Powerup and Behold, a 3.3 T21. Make sure your group with a pet or something, it makes you get alot more xp.

get a speed sliced t21, and as many of the abilities boxes you can. it makes grinding so much faster. also your pistoleer mods don't work while you are holding a rifle. ( thats why they are in the pistoleer tree)

Actually all the defense mods stack apart from Dodge, Dodge / Block / Counterattack is linked directly to the type of weapon you are holding. The rest Stack up to the +125 Cap I believe.

Grab some Powerups that reduce speed too, you can get your speed sliced T21 down to 3.x or so

If the Jawa is doing 600 - 1000, then it is averaging 800. If the Laser is doing 100 - 2200, then it is averaging 1,150. So while the Jawa is not getting really low hits of around 100, the Laser is doing350 moredamage on average. Therefore, the Laser is the better choice in this circumstance. Of course, this is based on just the numbers you gave. You did not say the speed of the Jawa. Obviously, if the Jawa was a lot faster than the Laser, the DPS (damage per second) of the Jawa may overcome that 350 point advantage.
Regarding your Combat XP: Speed is paramount for rifles. Putting the Combat XP in Special Abilities will give you one box and most of a second box (about 25k short). Getting both those boxes will give you +20 to speed, +20 to melee defense, and Flurryshot1 (dizzy). This will add 20% to your rifle speed and nearly double your melee defense as well as give you a ranged dizzy. Finesse IV will give you +20 to accuracy and +10 to Counterattack. These are important, but the speed, melee defenses, and the dizzy will serve you better. Again, speed is possibly our most important modifier if you want to survive as a rifle user.

yea i was master gunfighter the specials are all broken - like half of em lol. why i dropped an am now pursuing master Rifleman / Doc 0/4/4/4 or so 
ima max my mind out and then jus constantly buff mahself. hf

that ws it. everytime i hit the vendor location tab it came up empty/ all i had to do was actually look for something in there thx

i was looking on the bazaar to try and find the items on my vendors and nothing shows up. All of my vendors are initialized for galaxy wide search but none of my stff shows up on the bazaar. I know this has been live for a while but my sales went up when it went live so i didn't notice this. I was just wondering what i am doing wrong (if anything). I posted this here because i am a weaponsmith and everyone here is pretty helpful.
