Anyone ever make a melee weapon using them...Looted one today and its for melee weapons, Jedi boards say possibly Lightsaber component, but Im hoping any of you might have a clue..

What are the properties on it?

I have heard the same rumor also regarding the lightsaber.

Since it has no stats at all, I would guess that it's either the description "melee weapon component" is a bug, or it's a required component for a weapon no one can make yet (lightsaber)

It fits in no Close combat componet or wepons and is not for a lightsaber that is the adegan Crystall Thanks

Maybe this is the required item needed to build some special weapon, like the RIS armour, I really want to find some quest that gives me a new weapon schematic

As far as I know, they didn't drop at all before the patch, and they were apparently added to an ingredient list in some file along with a bunch of obvious lightsaber components, so it'd be safe to assume that it's used in a lightsaber somehow.

Krayt Dragon Pearls are used in Knights of the Old Republic to upgrade Light Sabers, so I would assume that it is indeed used in them.
