Since people are asking for opinions on guns, and nobody seems to mind..
Featherweight FWG5
Made with 180 damage Gorax bones:
Damage: 378-966
Speed: 2.22
Combined Accuracy: 32
SAC: 78
Base DPS: 303
DPS is a bit low cause of the speed, but we all know that doesn't mean a lot, right?
ADK-worthy?
Thanks for any input.

Very nice. A CL80 character shouldn't be concerned about that speed at all. Excellent SAC, though I do find the "combined accuracy" stat a touch misleading.

Misleading how?
It's just separated into two different bonuses - +15from the Featherweight schematic itself, and +17 from the scope/experimentation/whatever.
As far as I can tell, they both count when you equip it, so how is it misleading? Not arguing, just curious how you mean. ![]()

Wouldnt it be better just to say Pistol Acc: 15, Acc bonus +17?

Yes.
My only point was that if someone didn't read carefully, they'd think they'd get 47 accuracy (32+15). IMO it's just better to have things as clear as possible.

They are actually two different stats and behave differently as well, so combining them is not really accurate. The weapon has it's own accuracy mod (seperate from skill mods) while the +15 bonus of the featherweight is added to your skill mods. The two stats are weighted differently so combining them is somewhat misleading even if the reader understood it was combined since they are actually different stats.

Very nice.
Guess I need to find some friends and kill a few hundred Gorax then.

nice gun
I am not ingame right now, so I don't have the statistics available atm.
But...
I made a factory run of FW FWG5's a couple of weeks back. (Obviously without Gorax enhancement) The base DPS on these weapons is over 300. Not sure what the Max dmg is, pretty sure the SAC is considerably higher than yours.
Just wondering how this could be...?

Because Base DPS means jack sheet. ![]()
It probably has a lower speed by .2-.4, which pumps the DPS up quite a bit.
However, for Master combatants, that difference is speed isn't very significant since they approach their speed mods approach the point of diminishing returns.
It's all about the max damage and SAC, baby!

Some math, just cause I'm bored...
This gun:
Damage: 378-966
Speed: 2.22
SAC: Less than 80
So, DPS = ( min + max / 2 ) / speed
(378 + 966 / 2 ) / 2.22 =
672 / 2.22 = 302.7 DPS
A more typical non-enchanced gun of the same type might look something like:
Damage: 350-850
Speed: 1.9
Same formula:
(350 + 850 / 2 ) / 1.9 =
600/ 1.9 = 315.8 DPS
SAC: Over 100
So the DPS on the second gun is better, but when you take into consideration the difference in SAC and max damage, I think most knowledgable players would opt for the first one.
