I just became a master WS through my respec, but i cant seem to find any resources needed for the advanced weapons. I travelled all over lookin for shops and i surveyed almost all the planets and still cant find all the resources. Can anyone help me out?

Have you tried the global vendor search through the bazaar?



Vade -- 12pt Master Weaponsmith & Master Commando

Well, you can talk to some of the other WS on your server. Aside from that, you'll just have to be patient and wait to collect the resources. The current resource page at SWGCraft will keep you up-to-date with the current spawns.

Spawns of resourses come and go.If you cant find what you needby shopping aroundthen you just have to wait for the next spawn and hope for good stats.

Try using the Vendor Search option on the Bazaar, you will be able to search any vendors in your galaxy who have Vendor Search enabled.


Will probably take some hours to go through them all but you are likely to find a reasonable ammount of the resources you need.


If you find something that is particulary good buy a lot of it and then postin your trade forums to see if any other weaponsmiths would like to trade some of it for something you need.

I have some bad news and some worse news...


The bad new: It takes months to get the resources needed to be a weaponsmith.


The worse news: The spawn rate is so messed up that some things you need NEVER spawn.




There was some patch notes several publishes ago to the effect "The rare stuff should spawn more often." What ever happened to that? No spawns at all for some resources for over three months. Blech.

Have you checked out www.swgcraft.com? The resource section on there is really helpfulfor this.

For surveying, you have to wait for the resources to spawn. They will come. And they stay for about 7 to 10 days(some longer). Survey about every3 days or so.


For getting resources that spawned in the past, you just have to look around....auctions, bazaar vendor searches, maybe established weaponsmiths will sell/give you some of their retired stock. There's the 30k resource kits too, but they can be expensive.
