ok i am a newer smith who loves making guns, but i am starting to miss combat a bit. so my question goes like this

does anyone or has anyone tried and found out a good way to fight as a wepsmith? i mean whats a good temp including master wep? is it possible to be good at PVP with good weps and being only level 54? looking for soem feedback here. proffessions and tactics would be appreciated in ur explanation of why it would work if i took it.

I myself am a MWS,Master Merchant, Artisan 4 1 4 1and have Pistoleer 4 0 4 0. That gets me to CL 32. It' enough to defend myself very well in the wilds but in PvP it'd be absoluetly worthless. And I'd have to say the CL 54 might not be very good for PvP either.

If all you want to do is craft weapons and not sell them (yourself anyway) you should be able to get MWS and master 2 elite combat professions, say rifleman and pistoleer, with no problems. The hybrid profession would be more difficult to manage skill point wise.

actually u can only get about say master rifle and about half of master carb

I am Master Bounty Hunter/0004 Pistol/ Master Weapon Smith and I have 4000 Combat prowess (FS tree)

Then i use a full suit of DEf +15 ranged/melee and some foods and I can solo a lvl 82 bol with some stim D's for a lvl 60 combat rating

actually it does, how do u fare against jedi when u hunt tho?

I hunt in packs, lol but i mainly took it for the armor I already had and the critical and torso shot and the use of my scatter pistol

In all reality if you have a mastercrafting proffession, your always going to be limited in your ability to fight especially post CU. If you want to be good at PVP its pretty much a must to have all combat proffs if you don't want to be just cannon fodder.

Solo a jedi no.. Most MBH with all Combat prof can't solo a jedi(varies on jedi skill)

But i can solo one 80 lvl Animal at a time

Altho i did try to solo a Bull Rancor lvl 84 and got smacked around
