To be brutally honest with you if you just respec'd your ALT and haven't got any resources it'll be a long time before you can start making decent money. You might even have to lay out alot more money to buy decent resources if you wish to start crafting the higher CL weapons straight away.

Melee weapons are easier, and require alot less specific named resources than the good ranged stuff. But then, who the hell is melee now anyway??

If you have the time and patience beg and borrow as many lots as you can, buy a bunch of BER 13s and harvest any named WS resource you can when it spawns. But even if you're lucky and get a run of HQ resources it'll still take many months to get up there with the leading WS on your server.

Stick with it and you'll find it's a great crafting profession, even if not as great as it was.

Muzz, youve been really helpful today, thanks.

Yea Ive noticed this. You wont be crafting quality for a long time unless you are rich now and can buy the good stuff for 30+- cpu

I bought a +25 skill tape for 12 mill, the guy hasnt been online cuz his PC broke so im waiting on that. I was thinking about getting a +25 weap assembly for 5+ mill, are those even worth it?

Not essential since they got rid of Critical Assembly failures, but desireable. If you've got the creds, buy it. Also it will mean you won't have to have many items of clothing for your suit, only two max maybe even just one depending on the number of sockets and other skill mods on your tapes.

unfortunately to become the best you need the best resources and a great location with a lot of dedication. and this all costs a lot of money. you will probably dump over 30 mil in resources that will last you 3-6 months depending on how popular you are. just keep an eye out for the resources... and remember, price is what brings a lot of people in also.
