Could you please tell the devs that acklay bones are completey useless. I have been killing the acklay everyday for about a week. In my inventory I have 10 sets of bones. The highest damage bone is 88,the rest being 68-70 damage. There is no point in killing the acklay what so ever for loot at least. The acklay bones should be high damage since they have no action reduction stats. Then that way i can use a high damage bone and spend all points in action reduction,and then i might have a decent hammer to sell. The way it is now there is no point in making a hammer with 88 damage bones. However I could of just had bad luck and looted crappy bones 10 times,so I will try try again to see if I'm wrong

But I can still make these,I still want to try a high damage acklay bone though=( Anything other than krayt tissue andgorax shards.

Melee needs some love again,and I 'm friggin bored of ranged weapons already

Like a lot of looted weapon components, I have a feeling that Ackley Bones were never converted for the CU, so they suck. If the Devs ever get around to finishing the conversion process, maybe they'll be good for something again.

Yeah, it would have been nice if the old loot converted. The other day I saw a set of acklay bones 234-340. Yikes!

You mean Acklay bones replace the reinforcement core, but do not have all the stats of a weaponsmith-crafted core (SAC, etc.), so the weapons made from them turn out lousy?

Thatsounds like a bug that should be fixed.

Maybethe schematic for a reinforcement core should be changed to accept an Acklay bone as an optional enhancement,so it would actually result in a better weapon, not a worse one.

Well 2 more acklay bone loots both of which are 68 in one set and 78 damage in the next. Going to try a few more loots,but i seriously doubt that they are dropping higher than 90
