I think I understand this whole crafting thing because I have read every guide and printed them out to study while im doing my business, you know, anyway. Please help me out here if I am wrong.
1. Resources are capped in certain areas sometimes. It looks like OQ doesn't have a cap.
2. Caps works like this: If something takes ferrous metal and lets say we are looking for CD. If one metal caps at 1-500 and another at 600-800 and we have both resources in our inventory, capped, it wouldn't matter which one we used since they are both at their 100% cap.
3. What is Co? It's listed in a guide up there.
4. If something is capped #1 at 200-800 and another #2 at 600-1000 and you have #1 at 500 and #2 at 600, then #1 is a better resource since the #2 is at its 1% cap as #1 is around 50% or whatever /dothemath
I'll edit and add anything I feel I need to ask before I start true crafting, thanks.

1. Correct. OQ is capped at 1000 on everything. Some other resources have other stats that cap at 1000 but OQ is the only stat where that is the case for everything.
There is a list of resource min/max stats on swgcraft.com WS forums somewhere. I don't have time to dig it out at the moment (at work) but i'm sure someone will.
2. If the resources can both be used in the same slot it means the schematic is looking for a generic type of resource rather than a specific named resource. In this case you need to find the highest stat cap for (in your example) CD for all the specific types you can use. Say one has cap of 600 and stat of 600, another has cap of 800 and stat of 750. Use the second as it grades the first as having 600 with a stat cap of 800.
3. Conductivity?? Copper?? In what context?
4. Answer 2 again applies. If they can both be used in the same slot it takes the stat cap as #2 (1000) and applies that to all resources that can be used.
