the modified rep blasters have a about 770 non loot made using servers best resources and crafting components full to action cost then last 2 points to speed, then maxing dmg on weapons and last points to action.
the normal rep blasters are a bit below par but not terrible. I keep modded and non modded stocked
I have a old Rep Blaster that does acid elemental damage. I wonder if newly crafted ones do the same.
As for the DX2, being a master cert, I was hoping that we all missed something in the new stats for them.
Republic blaster comes with small acid damage, modified does not. I have made both and it seems the modified version isnt worth it. Slightly better damage but no element damage modifier and really not much better gun overall. Odd how the regular version ends up better than the loot schem, but then again take a look at the enhanced E11s or DXR6b rifles...
Republic blasters are good because they are best energy damage for a master pistoleer, while kinetic damage works best from a FWG-5, and the featherwieght actually adds another +15 or so to accuracy so strangely enough this loot schem is actually worth getting!
