Here is the question, to Experiment on speed, or Damage ??

I ask this because of an experiment i did on a adv.Laser rifle.

I 3 made scopes & Stocks

Made one set with full Speed Experimentation

one set with Full Damage Experimentation

and one set split points.

All Had Great Sucuess

now i put them together

the estimated DPS unsliced on all 3 aprox the same give or take 2 or 3 dps.

So i gather it does not matter which way u experiment unless its custome made to use the users the skill mods.

or do i got this all wrong. ??

If you want to make a max DPS weapon, experiment speed first on the sub-components, then damage first on the final combine, placing leftover points into speed.

Exactly. Always experiment on damage then speed with final assembly of weapons. But for the components, go for speed or even sac cost

Pretty much exactly what I do.... get the subs to -8 SAC then the rest of my points on speed (usually have 3 or 4 points after gettign the SAC down)

On the final design max out the damage usually leaving me with about 4-5 points or so and throw the rest into speed, occasionally whacking an extra 1 or 2 points into SAC if its still a little high (usually pistols - my -23 SAC stocks tend to sort out my rifles and carbines!)
