What would be the best long range weapon I would be certified for? I need something to allow me to pull creatures and do a little damage before they get to me.

Adv Laser Rifle or Elite Carbine would be better than any pistol due to the 25m limitation on pistol range...you can almost melee lunge that far. 64 meters on Adv Laser and 55 or so on elite carb.
