Ok, I just skimmed through some trade forums and I found krayt tissues in the range of 130 or more going for 4, 5, 6 or more million credits. Now I'm thinking, If I was to take those tissues and make guns with them, couldImake as much selling the guns vs selling the tissues themselves.

I am inclined to believe the answer is no......I mean I currently have some +190 tissues that on TC-AHAZI when I used them, they didn't yield a weapon that I personally felt would sell for more than afew hundred thousand.

So Is it worth buying tissues of this quality for such high prices and making weapons with them. Or are tissues like that overpriced? Would any of you WS bite on +130 tissues for 6 million?

Yeah, you may or may not be able to sell the weapon for 4, 5, 6 million. All depends on what they normally go for on your specific server. What I do is look on the Galaxy wide vendor search for tissues. Usually every couple of days I'll find some great deals like 5 100+ dam tissues for 100k or so. It's really helped me to turn a profit.

130 tissues at 6 mill, thats way overpriced in my book. Im paying around 1 mill for 170 tissues and only in stacks of 4 or more.

On my server you wouldnt be able to sell a rifle made with 130 tissues for 4-6 mill, but I dont know the economy of your server, have a look at the trade forum and see what enhancedrifles goes for.

That's how much they go for on my server as well. I have often thought about selling my tissues in lieu of crafting the weapon.

Today it hit me...some folks don't want to chance losing the opportunity for having their weapon capped out on damage w/ low sac..so..they spend 8 mil on a buyout to secure their tissues (since many in the game have over 400 million..what's 8 right?). That's how I believe it happens.

Or you can do what I do with my customers. If they want a krayt or gorax enhanced weapon (or anything using geo cubes). I just ask them what they want and let them know how many tissues or whatever is needed for that weapon. And if they bring me the amount needed then I'll assemble the weapon and charge them the price of what a normal weapon costs.

I.E. if a person wants a goraxbone in a FWG5, they bring me theenhancement and i build them the weapon for the same price as I sell it on the vendor.

This way I don't put a lot of cash into buying and keeping stuff in storage, and the customer gets a very nice weapon for a good price, and most likely had some fun while getting the needed enhancements. Unless they went out and bought the stuff, then thats their business.

I never understood this practice of charging the same as your vendor weapons for customs. You spend a few mins working on a schematic right? Plop that down into your factory and make 100 of em, post em all and are set for a while. But for a custom you need to meet with the customer, send a few e-mails or tells to figure out what they really need (sometimes they have no idea), meet for the parts, hand craft the enhancer/schem, add to factory(if it takes identicals), then do the final build. I have started charging for my pre-CU component stuff 25k over what my vendor price is, sometimes 100 or 200k +25 not much but still I can justify it.

Definitely the best way. Thankfully I rarely have to buy tissues from auctions as they seem to go for alot more than can be bought ingame.

Be nice to your customers, offer them fair prices for their loots, give them nice enhanced weapons every now and then and you'll have more tissues than you know what to do with.

Its just the way I do business. And it nets me both loyal customers and advertising by word of mouth. And this arrangement also nets me free looted schems, extra tissues or other simular items. So basically it comes out as a win-win situation for my customer and myself.
