Thread: WS/AR/Acrh/Merchant????
just as food for thought - my current temp is M.AS (12pt), M.WS (12pt) artisan 4041, smuggler 4000.
so i can buy my own faction for armor - no need to grind or get it off expensive smugglers 2nd hand, two crafting trades, 2 vendors with 250 space on each and a little extra on surveying. there are enough tailors to support me on my server, i have to keep my vendors checked alot - though most of my sales are special orders anyhow and best bit is i have a little extra health and lvl to protect me on harvester runs
I've been 12 point MWS, MAS, 14 point Artisan (for powerups) and 4034 Merchant... the merchant skills are great, get on planetary map, can use barker droid to annoy starports. When I make a new vendor, I drop a skill to get clothing for the vendor, then re-train the"4" box I dropped to get vendor clothing option.
If you're gonna be a MWS, you might as well sell powerups and repair tools to your customers. Plus some weapons need artisan components too.
