Thread: Damage caps are really boring,losing the thrill fast

It just seems really boring to me now,lost the thrill. I'm sure it will all be over soon. I'll get to the point of why bother and move onto another game that doesn't censor weapons by capping them. Not to mention almost all weaponsmiths on my server quit. Maybe they felt the same way I do. Blah I guess there is no point to this post. My little voice won't be heard or even glanced at. Anyways I'm just rambling and it's 4 30 am here and i can't sleep

Oh and don't get me started on scythe blades,geno rifles,geno pistol,the hack,de-10 and so on. At least make those master profession weapons,those weapons were the best part of my weaponsmithing time. Those weapons if crafted well proved you as a weaponsmith. blah blah blah but now would be better if used as a melee weapon, or a kick stand

and while we slowly die from boredome all the dev do is introduce new bugs upon our professsion.
Patch 19 will brign a resource bug can I get a YIPPEYIYEAH?
AS had caps for a long time and I actually think those caps made the profession more challenging
Caps make people look at other stats also and challenge the crafters into differentiate...
I must say I rarely make weapons that cap since they are prettymuch crap because wastingtoo many points on damage often leaves you with an inferior SAC stoppingyour uber damage fro being dealt because you are out

hahahaha I capped the damage on a Scoutblaster using base tissues.
I thought being a WS might be fun since SOE screwed up AS but it's really not much more fun than AS. They should just do away with all crafting profession in this game. Here are some example of why.
BE - BE pets sucks,Many other broken things still.
Chefs - Most food products are now redundant, and inferior to a spices which are easier to make.
AS - Broken health enchancers, way too many thingsto list. The profession is now pretty much an overpriced Tailor.
DE -major nerf to combat droids, was one of the least interesting crafting profession in game since start of the game. Maybe the devs think they were still developing for EQ and didn't think Droids play a central part of SWG.
Tailor - B.E. enhanced clothes are fubared!!
WS - The most interesting weapons are looted. And the "high end weapon" are too low level to be effective.
Anyone feel free to add. I say just make all our stuff purchasable through NPC and be done with it. I'm tired of waiting for fixes. We were promised with less bugs with the CU by the VP of SOE. So, most of us decide to accept the CU. But, since the CU we got more bugs than fixes.
Something has got to be done soon!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I am and you dont have to take my word for it either, look through the bugthreads and probably on the item and loot board as well.
Im guessing theyll fix it pretty sooon (at least the pearls not dropping), but still Id have liked it very much if the smuggler tools had dropped of something else. Im so tired of hitting dragons and looting stuff I have no need for.
