people on my server are charging 1.5 million for 'em

Anyways, the schematic is *really* easy to get (it's just a quick delivery mission in the cave. And yes, I've done it myself)

the cubes don't seem to drop much (but I got 7 solidifying agents off of one mob)

1.5 million is extremly overpriced for a weapon that doesn't use very many resources. Heck, even 750k is still too much. I'd expect as time goes on, the prices will drop down to sub-t21 prices [30k on the Intrepid server].

Smiths on Valcyn have been selling them for 500k with no problem keeping them off the shelf.

I dont sell them fo rthat much, (in fact havnet sold one yet given about 20 away though in exchange for other items from the geocaves)


Sure it doesnt require that many resources but its not about the resources when it comes to the special weapons.

You need two identical power cubes to make them, then you have to take into account if you are using Formfitting stocks to make them, each item brings the value up that much higher.



Smiths on Valcyn are paying 250k for the Tenloss schematic, so for 5 weapons thats an automatic 50k per weapon. Plus the power cubes, I've seen 10 yellow power cubes sell for a hair less than 1 million credits, there's another 100k per cube, so on the two items alone you are spending 250k in two different components.

Now you throw in stocks or scopes (say you are using precision scope and form fitting stock) using valcyns standard buy price, thats another 100k to the weapon.

750k for this weapon doesnt seem too bad, when it's costing you 350k+ credits to make it. (Assuming you have to buy all special components and the sell rates are similar to Valcyns.)

I've been fortunate and I've only spend 500k on 200 items of geonosian loot, including 30 yellow powercubes, 100 white power cubes, 12 Tenloss schematics, and a bunch of core schematics and other drops from the cave.

I will probally be selling my guns for between 30-50k

Wrong on the pricing on Intrepid. I expect prices will drop over time but the loot still has to be there to make the weapon. Combine this with the fact that Power Cubes have other uses and that this is a truly damageing weapon and you will still see premium pricing on these. Certainly way under 1 million though. Of course, there will always be the inferior smith who'll through these together with any old resources and sell them cheap.

Personally, I've sold half a dozen of 'em at 50,000 credits a piece (but I require that the customer bring their own cubes)

They're referring to the Tenloss DXR6-b Disruptor Rifle. It's one of the new limited schematics from the geonosian cave. Yes, the pricing is extreme right now, and some people are charging up to 1.5M and selling just fine.

However, I doubt that these guns will ever drop under the T21 prices, or even close for that matter. The specific resource requirements on this are just as demanding as the T21 in terms of diversity. Also this thing is loot dependent, which will always drive the price up, no matter how easy the loot is to get (although it's not like these cubes are dropping of meatlumps or anything). Plus the schematic is limited use, and bewtween those facts, that means that these cannot mass produced like the T21 can.

That combined with the fact that this is acid damage, something riflemen desperately needed, make this a very in demand item. My guess would say that these things will stabilize somewhere in the 75K-125K range, but that won't be for some time yet.

I'm quite interested in the new Geo blaster, personally. Is the price for this new blaster close to the Tenloss? lower? higher?

And for another n00b question, how difficult is it to obtain these scematics and pieces from the new Geo dungeon?

The price for the Geonosian Sonic Pistol (player-made, not the drop version) is generally selling much higher than the DXR6-b. While they're priced about the same on our server, it seems that the sonic pistols are much rarer, and are selling off the shelves at 1.5M from what i've heard.

Expect to pay a boatload of credits for that one.

The new blaster is very rare. I would expect 2-3 times the price of the rifle due to the fact that they are so rare and you have to pay an arm and a leg to get the schematic.
