Missions and lots of them thats what I had to do , you can try making good power ups and WUK's as well. Also selling resources should be a viable business and you should know whats good and whats not as you are oging to need over 120 different resources by the time you hit master.

First, get to Survey 4 ASAP. Then go to swgcraft and start looking at the WS schematics for named resoures you can harvest. Stuff like diatium copper, ostrine ore, plumbum iron, axidite iron, irolunn gas, link-steel aluminum, et al. Concentrate on resources for components like advanced blaster power handlers, projectile feed mechs, sword cores, and the like -- your finished weapons won't be up to par if your components are poor. You'll need 40+ resources when you hit master, so now is the time to start collecting them!

Sell these resources on the bazaar or via your galaxy trade forum, keeping some of the good stuff for yourself. As a fallback, if no named resources are in cycle, just look for steel and copper with high CD and OQ stats and polymer with high OQ. Worse comes to worst, just harvest any kind of crap steel and sell it on the bazaar for 3 cpu. That should keep some funds flowing in while you are harvesting the materials you'll be needing and working on the other skill boxes up to master.

Good luck!

Back in the days when I started out and money wasn't too easy to come by I found that by using some of my lots to harvest power covered my weekly expenses and then some. This was back before BER was listed on harvester and the best you could find were solar and fusions were unheard of.

Get yourself some good BER wind/solar/fusion harvesters and find 70% or better concentration locations of the different kind of power resources and place your harvesters on them. If you do this right after a resource shift you can milk that spot for about 7 days. Not only will you build upa reserve of power for yourself but also be able to sell some on the side for cash.

Every now and then when I'm in a pinch I'll break off 20k or so of spare energy and sell it for 3cpu unless it's high end radioactive that I don't need and know a Doctor or other class can use then I sell it for 5 - 8 cpu (once again depending on quality).

I found some 900+ CD copper and I sell the hell out of high quality crafting tools and repair tools on the Coronet bazaar. I can use my harvesters strictly for getting resources for weaponsmith and current grinding.

Aye, mate, get Survey IV while you're out doing missions for cash. Buy some harvestors and get the resources with good stats or the required-by-name resources like Tatooinian Fiberplast or Dantooine Berry Fruit.

SWGCraft has TONS of information on what's where and which schematics need the stuff. Go to the site and look for thelink on the left side labeled "resource usage". This will show you which ones are needed for which schematics. Use Irolunn Reactive Gas as a good example. Only one schematic for one profession uses this--and there is no substitute. If you were to have a bunch of this, and no-one else did, you could make a good sum of money.

Good luck!
