I have been trying to grind weaponsmith for the last 2 days but it seems like every time I learn a new lesson or every time I log off, the draft schematic number of rifle barrels changes.. I have absolutely no idea how to figure out how to choose the correct number. Lets say that I choose draft schematic 140 and that makes an item about 10 items below the rifle barrels.. so then I choose 130 for the schematic number and and it makes an item way above it!! Then I will go to all the numbers in between 130 and 140 and guess what, it still isnt any of them..

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong my macro is awesome but every time i pick up a lesson I spend over an hour punching in random numbers until I can craft the correct item.

Thanks,

Trial

That and you try your best and count the schematics that can be crafted with your current tool/station in your datapad.

Don't sort the schematics on your datapad (if you are). Generally speaking, they may change whenever you gain or lose a crafting skill box but should not change just from logging in and out. The schematic numbers will also change if you use a different crafting toolkit (general vs. specialized), and if you're standing within range of a crafting station.

So my suggestion would be not to sort the schematics on the datapad on your next login. Run your macro and see what item pops up, then find that item in your datapad. If it's below the item you want, add "10" to the schematic number and try again. If it's too high, then remove "10" and try again until you get the desired item bracketed. Then do it all again going up by 1's until you get your winner. Then you should be good to go as long as you use the same kind of crafting kit while standing in the same location until you gain (or lose) another skill box.

Yep see what comes up when you start your macro then check your data pad to see if what you really want to craft is before or after what came up. Then count how many forwards or backwards and change the /selectDraftSchematic #.
