seriously, where the hell is it?

sabacc1000 put a ton of work into compiling the data, analyzing it, and doing thewrite-up, all on his own time.

whywas it deleted? i've seen entire threads deleted before, but only when they had no redeeming value whatsoever. if that whole tusken rifle thing was considered a "flame war" or something, why is the whole thread missing and not just those posts? why is the repairs thread missing, but not the two no text double-post threads or that horribly stupid trade thread that I reported like eight hours ago?

THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR DELETING SUCH A WELL-WRITTEN, UNBIASED, INFORMATIVE POST.

This is totally ridiculous. And I personally demand an explanation. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that someone should not be able to post research they've done in game about an important issue like that. If there was something wrong with that thread someone needs to tell us what it was so Ackeeba can repost it in a proper format. It's not only relevant for discussion, but it's useful information for any weaponsmith to have.

very **edit**ed up to do that to the info that the guy obvioulsy spent so much time testing in a effort to give the devs some basis for fixig a part of there toatla screwed up code.

However we should expect the thought police to stop by when there is a thread that doesnt shows, with facts to back it up, that the Devs dont know jack about the game they direct

Well, as it stands now, I haven't gotten anything as to where my post went. I'm probably gonna just go kill stuff for a while to work off the frustration, and if they haven't said anything by then, I'll just repost. By that time it'll be the weekend, and I doubt they'll pay much attention to it over the weekend.

I have to agree. What the hell were they thinking here. While the study wasnt conclusive it definately provided some insight This is just another example of burying their heads in the sand when people lodge a ligitimate complaint. Anybody ever heard that honesty is the best policy.

Sabacc: respect to you for going to the trouble of doing the dev's work for them on this. It's something that affects or own profession and every combat profession in the game. Your post was well researched, well written and obviously got on someone's nerves.

Ridiculous. Yes, please DO post it again when you have time Sabacc, and we should try and get Logix to sticky it or send a link to the devs.

The forum mods here are a lot more heavy-handed that most places, but there was absolutely no reason to deletethe entire thread.
