Thought this fix deserves a post for itself so iwouldnt drown in the resource buff thread 
Regarding the bug where looted scopes and stocks turned changed the weapons damage type and in some cases made it do only 1 point off damage:
Bugged weapons crafted before publish 23 should all be fixed to normal damage type.
Weapons crafted with stocks and scopes looted pre publish 22 will still bug the weapon by changing the damge type upon assembly, HOWEVER. If you close the game and let your character dissapear form the the gameworld the damage type should be fixed when you log back in

oo thanks for that i just made a mate a heavy lightning rifle and it came out with blast damage 1147 max damage tho capped sac. I have a pre 23 adv laser on my vendor tho and that is still blast damage do i need to have it in my inventory u think?

same thing happened to me with a scatter..e.yeah just take it off the vendor into your inventory and it'll be fine

sweet thats what i needed to hear itis 1178 max damage as well with 66 acc bonus

No need to log out and in, from what I've seen you just need to set them in a house or something of the like till the server runs its next "save" and they will change to what they should be. vendors do not count.
I have to do this alot with stacks of cells or casings, or even GDK scales etc as typically it won't let me use the last one of the stack stating you cant use stacked loot etc (the one that has the number 1 still on it gives me this prob)
just leaving it out for a bit fixes it right up, about 15-30 minutes, however long till the next server "save"

It took me a few logouts but I finally got mine to work yesterday. /cheer
