Thread: The real scoop on Bespin Port.
oke let's say your crafting a pistol
First you put 6 points in damage. You drink a bespin port. Then you click experiment. now you see how many more points you want in sac/dmg etc. you place 2 more in damage to get it capped again you drink a bespin and you press experiment again. Now you have 4 remaining for sac or speed whatever you want. You put 4 in and drink a bespin and click experiment.
Most people use bespin when they do multiple points at one time. You take it before you click the experiment "button"

why would anyone use all their points in one go?
say im on final assembly, i take a bespin, click to the end of the damage line, hope for amazing, say i do get it...
now i got X amount of points left, drink another bespin, toss pts to cap off dmg (if neccesary) then toss the rest into another bar (sometime effectiveness if not already capped from subcomponents) till it caps then the rest into speed
thats my method... and im double cappin featherweights like crazy now hehe (with these new WS buffs)
well when I have no fear of capping it out shy of using up al my points thats what I do. And poping a port helps emmensly in avoiding failures/poor results. Though I've found certainly when crafting high end loot component weapons... well you cap stuff pretty easily. (Hell I capped SAC cost on a krayted PFT recently... right on final assembly using -23 SAC stock and -9 SAC powerhandlers). So even then I seem to have wasted a few poitns that could have gone into damage or speed. Ah well.
I suddently realize something.... What is the message SOE is giving us in this way?
The more alcohol you drink, the better what you do will be?
Guess it's not a really good education behaviour
