I am looking to have another maxxed out Trando Rifle made (thank you Dy-nod!!!) and am wondering if its better to go with Krayt Tissues or Power Cells? I sawa thread that said that these were interchangeable and can be used in place of one another. Also, what stats should I be on the lookoutfor on each of these? I want to say that the barrel I have is a Min 33, max 34,spd -.7 and -8 for the last stat (think it was cost).

Thank you in advance for all of your help.

I would go with cells due to the fact they come with sac reduction already.

For capping out damage on rifles i'd go with tissues, providing you can get some with dmg > 190, I don't believe EPCs go over 184. You should also be able to get SAC capped no problem with tissues.

On the tissues, the ones I've seen list their stats alittle differently when I see them on a vendor. So I should look for ones that are > 190, but what about capping the SAC? Is there another stat I should be looking for too?

You should be able to cap SAC with either - just easier with the cells.

Since the barrel has a SAC reduction, do you need the cells' SAC reduction? Make sure your speed is good on your tissues, also. I would prefer using cells if the tissue speed was .4. I got burned by a customer because after slicing two HLRs, one with 135 tissues and fast speed and one with 175 tissues and base speed came out about the same after slicing. Damage sliced the low damage tissue one up to cap and the speed was only .1 or .2 slower than the one that got 12% speed slice him high damage tissues.

What is considered a good speed on the tissues? With cells, I have seen enough to kinda know what I should be looking for, but tissues are a new thing for me. Sorry for all the questions, but I am a complete non-crafter and I figure you guys are the experts at all this!

I would say better than -.5, but if they got 190 damage on them, no one is going to care since they are so rare. My point, actually, was the other way around. You can craft something very similar, yet not so expensive with lower ranged loots, sometimes.

I would honestly go with the cells. From what I've seen of the Krayt tissue on Tarq the highest so far is like 170, I could be wrong and probably am but that is all I've seen so far. As for the cells well, just looted a stack of 6 184 with a nice speed reduction and -8 SAC which is super nice since I was only able to get the SAC down to 0 with the Krayt tissues. I admit I'm only a 10 point Rodian smith but I'd still say the cells are the better way to go. But the thing to remember is DPS and SAC overall damage is little if you can't dish it out fast enough.

If he's looking to 'max out' (by that I am assuming he means damage) why use EPCs which give a lower damage bonus than the tissues he has? Especially on a Trando.
