I've been thinkin about becoming a Weaponsmith but some ppl say it sux but others enjoy it quite alot... What should i do plz post

If you do go for WS, follow this.
1. Get lots of money (you'll need it!!!)
2. Get some high quality harvester / generators
3.If the resources aren't on any planet...make friends with a miner and see if he has any.
4.STOCKPILE RESOURCES!!

Make sure you like crafting things first. And make sure you don't mind spending lots of time looking for resources. And be prepared to battle against WS who have been playing a while...

Being a weaponsmith is not for everyone. It takes alot of work and alot of time to get where you can make weapons that will somewhat compare to the established WSs in game.
The grind is hard. Getting the resources you need is hard and expensive. You won't have enough lots with a single character (IMO). The tells will drive you up the wall in game asking for silly stuff like one handed melee weapons that must do 240 MaxDam and have a 2.0 speed unsliced.
I've put alot, and I mean alot,of time into harvesting resources. First thing I do when logging in each day is open my survey tools and see what there. Thank goodness my buddy is a Master Architect and has made a fleet of heavies for my 2 Ahazi characters to use at no charge. Spent hours upon hours hitting resource vendors on all the planets looking for the specific resources and spent alot of money aquiring said resources.
With all that said, I'm loving it as a Master Weaponsmith. My business is taking off on Ahazi/Talus. Getting repeat customers and making some decent weapons.
Guess when I hear the ocassional, 'Man you make somenice weapons', makes it worth while for me.
