Thread: Question about Class 3 Solid Petro Fuel

From my experience I use the following for Advanced Components:
- All Melee Components (Adv Sword Cores, Adv Vibro Units, Adv Reinforce Cores)
- Adv Blaster Power Handlers (you simply have to use them to compete)
- Adv Projectile Barrels and Feed Mechs (once again.. your FWG5s, etc... won't compete w/o them)
That's about it for the advanced stuff. I chose to go with regular blaster (pistol and rifle) barrels in all my guns to make the job less resource intensive and go for that .1 advantage in speed while losing the 3-5 points of damage. If you are scoping a weapon, the general trend is to use regular scopes experimented down to 1/1/1 HAM so it doesn't kill the HAM costs.
If you don't have theAdv BPH resourcesyou can probably sell a large amount of Heavy Weapons made with normal BPHs also because a 20 point damage increase in something that maxes above 700 is not a huge improvement and people will still buy them at decent prices.
Anything else I left out assume I use normal for them. I only use Advanced where it is really needed because otherwise I would find the resource gathering for all the other advanced parts an activity that would decrease any amount of fun I am having with the Weaponsmith profession.
