well me and my friends have figured out what the heck sarlacc bile actually does (this teaches us to start talking to NPCs). well there is an NPC named Goru Rainstealer just next to the starport on namble (Rori). you talk to him and he will go ask you to get his friend, Joriad i believe, to get some Zicx bugs for the second ingredient needed to make his "bug bomb" (the first ingreedient is sarlacc bile). Joriad is at wayfar on tatooine. he gives you the Zicx bugs for killing some Valarians who stole his spice. i actually looked at the description of the Zicx bugs and it said they are completely invulnerable to Kinetic and Energy (armor possibly??!). anyway, you take the bugs to Goru, you drag them onto him along with the sarlacc bile. he then says "give me a moment to craft it". wait a few seconds, then talk to him, and he will give you the weapon for no charge. the bug bomb is blast damage, medium armor piercing, around 400-650 damage, 6.0 speed. i really dont know much about grenades, so i dont know if it is worth it or not. ill edit this post if i get the damage wrong, because i think it is a bit higher.

a well crafted C12 will do close to 1000 damage.
