Ne1 else having the worst trouble trying to find good quality resources to make heavy weapons with? Rhodium steel is a joke, copper is crap and even irolunn gas is very rare atm.

Maybe i'm just not looking in the right places, so if anyone has a wp to a vendor on Ahazi, let me know

Rhodium steel is only required if you're making advanced barrels because in most cases the barrels are no better DPS wise, I tend to ignore it. There have been some AMAZING coppers in the last 2-3 months.. Duragop, Picami, Eovor.. and three different spawns of Diatium. There's also a current spawn of Irolunn that's worth harvesting.

First suggest as a WS is if you want to have any kind of reasonable profit margin on Ahazi? Mine your own stuff there are fairly few sources of resources outside of the big 2/3 vendors and the prices for resources seem to be quite big atm.

Secondly, ask around. Alot of the Ahazi smiths are nice folks and will let slip a bit of this or that to help you along. You may be getting the third bets spawn? But with some things like Irolunn the third best spawn isn't that far from the best, and for stuff like Diatium the third best spawn makes the same quality component as the best does.

Irolunn is present on Ahazi/Talus right now. I have 3 heavies sucking on an 80% spot as we speak. It should be around another few days at the most so best get something on it. The quality is just a little worse than the last spawn. It's well worth getting, especially if you have a low supply.

The Phrik Alum that is out right now will work in a pinch also. It's on Talus and Corellia both right now.

Both those you need for adv power handlers and as your business grows you'll find yourself using alot of it, least thats how it's going for me as a new weaponsmith.

well first off that is a server related problem so it shouldnt even be posted here...

I find sad to see a WS complaining about resources that are currently up, and on Talus *sighs* it's not like you had to go to Dath or Lok (Talus isnt more hostile than Naboo and it only cost 1k roundtrip I mean), and if you want to get all best resources you'll have to check those planets too, not mining his/her own resources is possible, not surveying is not possible, you just cant rely on other ppl to check and see that a ditanium steel with awesome SR has spawned on Dath cause most ppl only look at OQ...so I think you should travel a bit more and you might have less complaints about resources
