Or some dev went a little crazy?

Ages ago I crafted a launcher pistol...Thing is it had the serial number (jedi6j4l).

Has anyone else had unique serial numbers such as this (Star wars related)?

as there are (if im doing the math right) 2,821,109,907,456 possible combinations of serial numbers, well, i think its safe to say its rare

as for the value... i wouldnt know

now when i can find something with serial num "kabisgod"...

I believe the odds of finding "jedi" in your item is something like 1679616 ... I could be wrong though, math never was my strong suit.

let me see if I cant remember my math... 8 places at 34 digits ea (24 letters +10 numbers)

34x34x34x34x34x34x34x34=1,785,793,904,896

that seems right... 1.8 bil combinations

I didn't notice that till iread your post, then I looked up "24 letters."

All that work with the math, just to screw up how many letters are in the alphabet.

Sorry I don't have much time to look at serial numbers on weapons, but if it occured on a component I would probably notice.
