I need some help please. I am new to crafting so please excuse my newbness. let me start with I don't know a lot about skill tapes. I found a skill tape yesterday for 5 mil that had droid assembly +8 Droid Exp -6 and weapon exp +8. I got all excited and told a buddy of mine about it. He was telling me the wep exp wont work on it because of the way the stats were set up. I decided to send in a ticket. I get a responce a canned responce I don't think the csr even read the ticket but that is besides the point.
What can I do to get this tape to work? I was told there was a way I could cancel the droid assembly out.
Oh any btw another csr told me it would work and to put it on clothing. I did and it didn't work.

Buyer beware in this case. You bought a tape not knowing fulling if it would work. The way they work now is that the highest number on the tape wins. And if its 2 things with the same + to it the top line wins. I have heard of the canceling out if you have a - to the other line in the same piece of clothing. But i havent seen it confirmed.
You took the risk when you bought it sorry. Not the CSR's fault.

You need to find/buy/steal/etc a tape with atleast Droid Assembly +8 as the highes/first mod on it and use that in a piece of clothing first and then use the tape you have now for the weapon exp to stick

Get a droid assembly +9 or higher tape and place it in an item of clothing (make sure it has at least 2 free attachment slots). Then drop your tape into the same piece of clothing. The droid assembly part should now be suppressed and the weapon experimentation part should be functional.

yechnically it is the Devs fault. this has been a broken experience since day 1 and the devs need to repair it pronto. hopefully these new hires they have will allow them to do so. if it's on the skill tape or armour attachment, it should stick. end of story. all three of those mods should have shown up on your clothing item if it was "working as intended".
