I have 18 factories making nades, 12 are devoted to detonators.
Easiest way I have found to make them is to break into groups of three.
The first one to finish it's components, the Warhead Fusing Mech, is the one that will be used to make the final combine. Just slip everything you can at that timeinto the factory and kcik it off.
As the other two finish off, re fill the final one and star in on the next set of warheads and stabalizers.
I find that I end up rotating which does the final combine after a bit.

I use 5 factories for each load. Factories 1-3 to make the components(warhead fusion mechanisms, warhead stabilizing devices, medium warhead mechanisms) and 4-5 make the actual grenades. You load half of the components in each of the two factories. This requires that you make two seperate schematics, but it also cuts your manufacturing time in half. While factories 4-5 make the grenades, you can start another load of components in factories 1-3. Components take the most time(about 3 days for a total schematic of 1000 stabilizing devices/medium warheads).
Have all this written down somewhere on actual production times on each component and grenade. Ill look around for it and post it. But with 2 experimentations on an Imperial Detonator schematic, it takes about 3+ days to finish 1000. Using two factories/schematics it takes 1.5 days for the whole lot.
