Pre-Curb crates of ABPH (same resources) 95% experimented:
Original stats: Min 20 Max 41 speed-.41
Converted Min 22 Max 47 speed -1.65
********************************************************************
TC-Gorath freshly crafted ABPH (same materials)
10 pts into Damage Experimentation 95%:
Min 24 Max 49 speed -.55 attack cost 4
******************************************************************
9pts into speed Experimentation 95% (3 amazings in a row)
1 pt into efficiency:
Min 15 Max 41 speed -1.91 attack cost 3
*****************************************************************
Krayt ABPH made prior to CU/TC-Gorath
Min 20 Max 89 speed -.96
After Converted stats:
Min 22 Max 53 speed -2.0
*****************************************************************
Krayt ABPH made prior to CU/TC-Gorath
Min 20 Max 71 speed -.71 (base tissues)
After Converted stats:
Min 22 Max 52 speed -2.0
****************************************************************
If anyone is interested. Too bad I'm not a 12 pointer...
Edit: Post CU/TC-Gorath Freshly crafted Krayt ABPH:
Tissue: 48 -.849 completely drugged up (Bespin and Pyollian cake) in research center
9 pts into Speed (2 Amazings) and 1 pt into Efficiency (Amazing)
Min 15 Max 89 Speed -2.76 Attack cost 2
*******************************************************************************
Oh my.... I just ran a Pre-made schematic (before TC/Gorath) for my best ABPH and it came out a tad strange:
Min 22 Max 47 Speed -1.65 (so far so good right?) Attack cost -6 !!!??? minus 6 ? looks like a keeper.

This is bad.... thanks for the update. Worries me about the krayt ABPH. Seems that if you want fast guns do runs of the ABPH now. However 2 damage more after CU. Nice 95% we barely get 82% on flurry

To the orginal poster: Make sure to put this info in the weapon conversion thread for your server. It seems that the krayt abph aren't converting properly, and it should be looked at.
Thanks for the info!

Also how are the tissues themselves converting?
Tissues arent converted
same to all other looted weapon components
they have all the same stats like before but needless to say that a 30 dam Tissues in a 800 dam base weapon is nearly nothing.
If SOE dont change this nearly all prepatch weapon loot components become worthless

is this for real? the way it will be when hits live or just now in test centres? anyone know?
ultra important

The conversions appear to be looking at DPS of the item. So those pre-CU ABPH's with high damage and slow speed get changed to low damage faster spd (capped at -2.0).

Tissues are no longer a direction damage Addition in terms of numbers, A Base Gorath ABPH was 49, add a +48 Tisse and the crafter acheived 89, not 95.

No, tissues add same as now. I experimented that ABPH for speed only (with 1 pt left for efficiency), so the unenhanced max damage should be 41, and the unenhanced speed -1.91.
But the conclusion is the same - save the tissues. If it even matters, that is.

Okay, here are some key points:
Conclusions Drawn:
- No converted ABPH goes below -2.0 Speed, although it is possible to craft them lower with Tissues in the CU
- A converted ABPH will be a more reasonable mix of Damage and Speed (this is WITHOUT doing number crunching in terms of DPS just a thought) , but a post-crafted one can acheive higher in either category.
- +48 Tissues yeilded +6 Damage in conversion, and +30 (Base) yeilded +5
- Tissues are not converted in any way in their loot form.
Tissues are no longer a direction damage Addition in terms of numbers, A Base Gorath ABPH was 49, add a +48 Tisse and the crafter acheived 89, not 95.My mistake!
Conclusions Drawn:
- If you have a bunch of tissues in handlers now - you're SOL unless they change it
- If you have tissues now, save them and don't put them in handlers
- If you have a metric ass-ton of tissues, it may be worth your while to place some in handlers, in anticipation of being able to acheive a more interesting custom weapon in terms of Damage and Speed, although the risk vs reward would be something you'd have to decide for yourself.
