Hi folksI was wondering if someone can tell me how exactly a Research Center benifits the smith? As a fairly new smith I'm struggling to match long time smiths even though I'm using the best ever spawned resources in many cases. SoI was considering moving to a Research Center if it would be a good benefit. Any info here is greatly appreciated.

A research facility specialty for a city will give all citizens a 20% in experimentation and assembly of items crafted within the city's limit. Personally, and from vast testing, it does seem to make a more noticible difference to professions such as Doctor, Combat Medic, Weaponsmith, Armorsmith, and Chef were Droid Engineers, Bio Engineers and Tailors see very few bonuses if any. Basically a crafter has a higher chance of pulling off amazing successes along with having fewer moderate and critical failures. Much like skill tapes this added success will not enhance the item over what can physically be achieved with the resources used, but it does allow investment of experimentation points into other things as the more amazing successes a crafter has during experimentation the more over points they will have left after base experimentation.
