Thread: What?!? Another New Master Weaponsmith?
Yeppers. My toon, Kazara, on the Intrepid server, finally achieved the lofty position of Master Weaponsmith last night.
I want to thank all of you that have been supportive of the non-master weaponsmiths. You assistance and encouragement really did make a difference.
Now I am a clueless Master Weaponsmith. I sure didn't learn much from the painful grind, but I have managed to save some great materials. I wish I had focused a bit more on the items needed for advanced components, but time , experience, and luck, will allow me to gradually stock the materials that are vital to weaponsmith exiistence. I will not be quiting my day job as a master architect anytime soon.
The real fun begins for me. I entered this profession for the challenge of a crafting profession that requires brain cells. As a master architiect, sheer volume of resources are the most important there! LOL!Starting as such a newbieon the quest for knowledgeis quite exciting, and I am sure, will be frustrating. I will continue to depend on the seasoned (and patient) masters here for guidance.
I am thinking of of focusing on a a particular line of weaponry. I am thinking of making ranged only for close friends and associates - so many MWS are into the ranged weapons - and focus on the melee end. I am inthis for the sheer fun and challenge of crafting a good weapon. Are there specialty smithies out there? Input please.
Kazara, Master Weaponsmith, Master Architect, Master Artisan, Novice Merchant - and one token skill point left to show for it.
yeah, there's some melee guys out there. you won't make as many sales as a gunsmith, but after you build your reputation you'll have other weaponsmiths sending melee customers to you.
grenades and commando stuff would be a good secondary item if you don't want to do pure melee.
