my first one i made was 3.2 speed w/ 144 max dmg. is that ok for a non krayt first? i also am not master but hav all of weapon crafting tech. skill tree.

For your first one, sure. That's fine. But mine are commonly 1.9, 60-205 or so (higher if I get some good iron - **edit**)

yea i know that its not the best. i hav been stocking lots of resources while selling some too for money. shouldnt take me long to master firearms tree. i expect bty the end of the week ill hav it.

I think my first (months ago) was like 120 dmg or something. I remember my first 142 dmg FWG5 probably 2.5 speed or something, thinking that it was awesome (and then it was as most masters weren't using adv subcomps for reasons not clear to me.... Many of them still aren't, and these are masters that have been around since the beginning).

I believe you could only use normal components for FWG5 as you are not Gunsmith yet. You are on the right path but I am sorry you may find it's hard to be market. With all adv components, FWG5 could come max damage 200+ and speed under 2.

Basically you could make very simliar quality FWG5 to master level once you have completed the Firearms tree as well. Be patient and start stocking good named resource for adv components. To be titled as Master Weaponsmith won't make you have good quality weapons anyway, all estiablished weaponsmith had spent months to collect their current ulitizing resource.

Been a MS for 2.5 months and mine are currently 170 max. Of course I'm fresh out of axidite iron also.....

I am expert weaponsmith and haven't got Expert firearms as well (advanced components). With the resources I have I got them to 150-156 max dam and 2.5-2.9 speed. If speed is above 3 I think it will be hard to sell.

But that of course depends on the resources you have on your server.

Holy cats, 214 dmg 1.7 speed! I have never heard of anything above 205 or better than 1.9 speed unsliced and unenhanced until now. Kudos to you! You must have some rocking resources... Best I can do atm is 202 2.0 using premo mats, but some new awesome diatium just showed up, so we will see....

The stuff on Naritus right now allows us to make 61-211 Dmg, 1.8 Speed or 62-212 Dmg, 1.7 Speed based on which Copper you use.

The only bad part about this is that we are in a serious Ostrine drought and there is only a couple Weaponsmiths that still have any left for Advanced BPHs. /sigh

Heh, this is sort of timely, I'm a tech4 smith, and I just made MY first FWG earlier today also. Didn't have resources for any advanced components at all, but had pretty good resource quality otherwise (except for fairly bad qual iron).

Considering I've got it sitting in my inventory next to one made bya master WS and a +82 krayt tissue, it doesn't seem all that good

However, I named it "LEET PRE-NERF FWG6", and plan to keep it for sentimental reasons.

We miss both Ostrine and Irolunn.

I had like 500-600 Irolunn 2 weeks ago but I traded it away for Ostrine (got 2 units for each Irolunn). Not sure it was that clever since Iroulunn now sell for 50-100 cpu. But I didn't have Ostrine (it was good Ostrine) either and hoped that Irolunn would spawn before I got Firearms 3. Chance to get one rare resource is higher than trying to get two. is It was bad Irolunn anyway, OQ was 2 digits only (still should be able to get at least 50 cpu for that).

1.5 61-260 ...made 6 last night with very similar values...

krayt +51 max damage -.3 tissue used

all advanced components... with some better axidite... it would have been much better....
