Attention MWS,

Please educate me since I am not aware....

while browsing thru my local server vendor, I notice all his alike weapons were of the same stats...
example: Laser Rifles41/385 at 5.9 speed....

then it dawn on me to look at the serial numbers.. they are all the same.

My question, is it possible for a person to create the same stat on mulitple laser rifle WITH SAME serial number? It doesnt make sense to me that a serial number is exact.. and i didnt want to offend MWS (hence not posting name).

If they come from a factory crate all serials will be the same.

i have always suspected that the serial number visible to us is probably only most of the actual real serial number. When you factory items they all come out with the exact same 'visible' serial number. If my theory is correct there is probably a few more characters at the end that differentiate the items in the crate so that dupers are easier to catch. If they didnt do it this way then it was probably the biggest bonehead mistake one could imagine.
