Many questions about this.

1) When they say "comparable to krayt tissues" do they mean identical? Will these enhancer have both speed and damage bonuses? Will they have drawbacks (like increased HAM costs or something)? Will they give bonuses to thing krayt tissues don't?

2) Any ideas on numbers here? Will we be able to make post-patch FWG5s that can compete with prepatch krayted FWG5s if we find good enough enhancers? If we can find feed enhancers that give up to +200 dmg and -2.0 speed like krayt tissues can, then all the +30 tissued guns that every WS on my server has been grinding out may not be worth the huge amount everyone thinks they will.

3) Most importantly, what are they called and where can I find them?

I think thats a different Feed mech enhancer. I believe theres a seperate new one they added to the game other than the gorax one.

Well FYI, in the patch they called it a "Projectile Feed Mechanism,"which is comparable to krayt tissue. And that is exactly what it is called. The "Projectile Feed Mechanism," that I actuallylooted a few days ago because it was already patched in has the following stats: +37 Min Dmg, +30 max dmg, and -0.466 speed. That is only the ones that I got and is by no means an average representative of how all of them will be, they may and probably will get a lot stronger then that.

proj feed mech is a component, they added an enhancer. you looted the component.

does the gorax even spawn anymore? it used to be part of some quest series but they changed that and i haven't heard of anyone finding one since.

I guess we'll have to wait and find out....

Kinda tough when my game is broken though. The full scan 'fix' for the game crash is garbage, I even ran the repair tool on disc 1 and then tried again and I still crash after loading.

I hope they fix this by lunchtime at least.

O forgot to mention that there are items that on can put into post patch fwg that will help counter the effect of the patch..items are similar to krayt tissues, but i doubt the will make up all the dmg spd lost.

I had the same crashing problem. It was because my graphics card drivers were not the latest recommended by Sony. I think the last patch changed the graphics engine slightly too.

I downloaded the up-to-date drivers...and its ok now

a little bump on this, I still have no information on these new enhancers, nor does anyone else on my server seem to.

Ok, we know the feeders drop off of gorax i believe, and from the collectors edition book,they should spawn in the desert, a couple ideas:

#1 Gorax are bugged. I have spent days hunting endor (desert area primarly with no luck). After scouring boards, i have yet to see one valid post about Gorax spawn, besides the old mission that use to spawn it that they nerfed.

#2 Gorax are bugged. Somehow to few people visit the planet, to cause gorax to spawn. Maybe a reversal of the problem they had to fix on planets where to many people were, and spawns stopped occurring at usual rates ?

#3 Gorax are bugged. There spawn rate is so unbelievably low, that achieving your force slot would be alot easier then actually having one spawn.

#4 Gorax are bugged. They aren't even programmed into the game as a spawn.

We just took a party out to Endor last night to find a Gorax.... as expected... NO LUCK.

This is insanely lame. They dangle crap in front of us then it doesn't even spawn! I've read every dang thread I can find on the thing, and since the mission nerf, no one has seen one. And several people have done sector by sector searches of the planet....

How do we get our voices heard around here???

WE WOULD LIKE THE CHANCE TO HUNT A GORAX PLEASE.

I spent Mon, Tues, Wed. running all over the northern desert on Endor and there is NOTHING...

While we're on the subject of Endor and Spawns. Dont you all think that Endor could use at least a dozen more mob types. I swear if its not a Hanadak or a Mantrigue then it has to be a Bloodseeker...regular or drone? Do we even care
