Hey folks,
I was toying with the idea (and offered the option to a few customers of the correct faction) of offering to trade faction points for credit at my vendor. It seems the only real viable way a non-combatant can really vaguely 'participate' - meaning, collect faction points - in the GCW. Plus I thought it was a neat idea all round, given that the more 'lower' range faction perks are mostly useless.
I was wondering if anyone else ever came forth with the idea, and if so, what rate you're charging, and how well you're doing? I've always wanted to go up in the ranks but cannot really farm faction. And yes, I know I could buy the points from a smuggler but that seems rather cheesy to me. I'd rather go up in faction from supplying my chosen affiliates with hardware.
In my dream world we could set a credit->faction rate variable on the vendor and allow people to purchase items directly that way saving the delegation issues, e.g. T-21 Repeating Blaster Rifle : 40,000cr or 400 FP (numbers are just pulled out of my wook).
Cheers,
Ker'shakk

Around 100 credits per point is a good trade, some go to 110-120 though. Its roughly 1000 credits per 100 fp.
