Thread: How to make usefull C22 Fragmentation Grenades?

Could anyone tell me what stats I should look for in the following resources when making C22 Fragmentation Grenades?


  • Amorphous Gemstone

  • Low Grade Ore

  • Metal

  • Polymer

  • Reactive Gas

  • Steel

And how do I get/make the following components? Do I even need them to make useful grenades since they are optional?



  • Enhanced Explosive Charge Composition

  • Enhanced Explosive Charge Shaping

  • Enhanced Effect Fragmentation Sleeve

And I'm only weaponsmith 0-0-1-0. Will I be able to make useful grenades?

You might want to check this page out. Summoned up tho, you should look for Overall Quality and Shock Resistance.

No... I have never seen any of the optional items anywhere in the game. They join the loot component for Bio Engineer Crafting in the great missing in action pool of never seen enhancers.


As to you making useful C22 nades, I actually don't know. I would suggest you trying to make one or two, and see for yourself. I make C12 at 2xx-8xx and C12 (afair) 4xx-12xx (min dmg might be off, I don't remember). Give them a shot. I would suggest making C12s tho, instead, as you'd hit a wider market for those.

The enhancements were something Commando's could make a LONG time ago. Right now, there are is no way to produce those enhancements.


Stats: UT and DR and OQ


The stats will vary a little depending on the component being made.

If you can make the components, then the sidebar should tell you what stats you need to look at for each component. For instance, ores and gemstones you only need UT. Reactive gas is DR/OQ, Polymer and metals are either DR/OQ or OQ/SR. Metals may also be CD/UT, depending on the component. Last, you'll need weapons 0004 to make anything decent. Without experimentation points, nothing is very good, but I was able to sell cheap (2k) DH17's when I was at 0004. And the only enhancements (loot) that you'll be able to put in C22's are kliknik glands OR acklay venom.
