Thread: Some questions on Rifles:

Are there any rifles that take a projectile feed mechanism AND a Blaster Power Handler?


I guess what I am asking is if it is possible to Have a Krayt Power Handler AND a Gorax Projectile Feed Mechanism in one weapon.


If it is possible, can someone tell me how many gorax shards I would need for that weapon? I can look up the Krayt info on the WS forum links.

nope and nope.


The only one that mixes is the Scatter Pistol I think?


It uses Blaster Power handlers and Projectile Barrels.

Well, if you had 9 identical Gorax shards and 5 identical Krayt tissues, you could make a rocket launcher... but given the damage they already have, it would be a big waste for a small difference.


Scatters and I think something else used to take both a long time ago, but that was nerfed.

Devs kinda passed this one by on the "dual power" nerf that hit fwg5/launcher/scatters.

but if you had legendary gorax and tissue and barrel you could hit 900dmg unsliced easily! heh

Lol and you would make a bowcaster... why?

I'd prefer a legendary Launcher, and a nice T21?

I've been making Krayt and Gorax enhanced Bowcasters now for some time. Supposedly the CURB is going to strip out armor piercing. IF that is true, then I think the Bowcaster stands to be a decent weapon. They have really low HAM costs as Rifles go (30/30/43) and good speed. Using base Gorax and Krayt tissues I can produce a 168/362 4.4 speed Bowcaster. Get a good damage slice on that and you've got a 480+ rifle. Using better tissues I could easilypush the damage to over 400. Remember, this is arifle with HAM costs that are 1/2 the T21 with superior speed. While I agree that doesn't mean much to a speed-capped Master Rifleman, where damage is currently king, after the CURB this could indeed be a "deadly weapon in the right hands."
