Thread: little help from you WS please.

Hi, im guessing this question is on the boards somewhere, but am sure you will help me. Im not a WS, just a hunter. Now i seem to have a great problem in sourcing decent fencer weapons on Shadowfire, but i have come across some 183 max damage Acklay bones.

Could you tell me if these would take a Gaffi stick or baton over the 300 max damage range?

You should be able to get well over 300 max with those bones on either the Gaffi or the Baton. Make sure you (or the WS) have high shock resistance resources.

Gaffi would EASILY go over 300, closer to 400.


Stun Baton would get over 300, but nearer to 300 than 400

Acklay bones just replace reinforcement cores which have stats of 41 min 41 max damage. So just subtract that number from the weapon then add in the stats of the acklay bones.



So on a stun baton it is around 132 max damage and without the reinforment cores it would be 91. So add in your stats for the ackaly bone of 183 and you would get 183+91 which is 274. I think I did all of the math right... do this same thing with other weapons that use acklay bones like gaffis, power hammers, and two handed axes(no reason to make these).

Is there any other component that can be replaced? geo cubes added etc. Before i get this made i want to make sure i have all of the non standard components. I have 2 bones, but may get a vibro blade made so i have an ap1 weapon.

Well acklay don't go in Vibro Blades... Vibro [insert variant of Vibro weapon here] only takes Vibro Motors, Vibro Units or NS Vibro units as enhancers...


Acklay go in:


Power Hammer

Stun Baton

Gaffi Baton

2h Axe

I made me a 2h axe with acklay bones, it made the grind trough 2h brawler lines a brease.
