I am finding three of my toons progress are severly hampered by lack of quality weapons.

My Starsider toon is a Carbineer with a slow, low damage, non-krayted Laser Carbineweapon.

What kind of stats should I be looking for on Starsider for this type of weapon? How much should I pay?

My FarStar toon is a Teras Kasi Master.

His knucklers are good basic stats, but being an Inv III Bounty Hunter they don't really cut the mustard.

I hear he needs Nightsister VK Motor and someone to craft it for me. Now I hear these motors never drop and I can't defeat the enemies without a team of Swordsman, Riflemen and Combat Medics - which I don't have. So what are my chances of purchasing these sort of knucklers? What stats should I be looking for and how much should I be hoping to pay?

My Inifinity Toon is learning the Swordsman Proffession at the moment, but damage and speed are proving a problem. I believe I should be trying to acquire an Acklay powerhammer, my current one is 450 max damage and not that fast - I am not strong enough to complete the scythe blade mission yet - so how likely should I be able to get this hammer? What stats could it potentially be? What sor of prices do you gyus usually charge for these things ?

i think if you stick to one server you'll have a better chance to get high end weapons.

as for carbines on starsider.. i can name like 5 or 6 weaponsmiths off the top of my head, not including myself, that can make what you need.

and for the ns unit.. it only drops off Avxka Min, shes the NS boss in the cave right outside the stronghold but she only spawns once per server reset.

they probably sell for about 1 mil each and are pretty rare.

and for the acklay power hammer.. you can probably solo acklay if you have a good template (swordsman/tka). otherwise just buy the bones..

pretty common atleast on starsider. most people make them into weapons and slice them instead of just selling the bones.

price range is anywhere from1 mil-50+ mil depending on stats of the hammer.

50 million for a Hammer?!

Good grief...I need to find a way to earn more money !

So going on this - it sounds like the Carbine should be easy, the VK nearly impossible and Crafting an Acklay PH may be possible if I can get the components myself, but nuying oen is right out for me?
