Thread: Desh Copper for VK.. What really matters....

Hi guys I'm a new weaponsmith who has posted a few threads and got some great advice, thanks. As I'm search for desh copper for the advanced vibro untis for my VKs I came across this and bought a 100k stack.

I thought I'd hit the Motherload. I was told The hard cap on UT was 400 and the OQ was a whopping 993. But as I load it into the crafting tool I'm in the yellow. I'm not even reaching green for the Vibro units. For other items requiring metal this is great, but I'm kind of at a loss as to what to try for my advanced vibro units? Anyone able to share what stats matter in my search for high quality items. Thanks much for your input.

The bars in your crafting window are based on max stats of 1000, not the "hidden" cap

i had the same issue with some solid petrol fuel 3 i just bought complete the items needed for advanced vibro blades. I got the best oq i could find and paid a ton for it. Loaded up the crafting tool and my heart sank because it wasn't even red.. there was a big blank there.. thanks for the info will experiment now and see what happens... But Oh Lord was that painful to look at..

isn't advanced vibro unit 100% for Unit Toughness? if so, that OQ on it is worthless.....

yep, might work okay in scopes unless you have higher OQ copper. You want to get desh copper a little over 350 UT from what I have seen. The highest on my server is 366..
I think the cap is actually like 372 UT.

Desh for Advanced Vibro units takes into account only UT, all other stats are irrelevant. According to several posts that I've read on this forum and others, the cap for UT on Desh is 372.

Mine are like that too. I put the extra experimentationpoints into ideal range so my VKs all have +19 ideal range in the final combine. I may have to change this after the CU though. As it stands right now I have no idea if anyone besides my TKM alt even looks at the range mods on VKs.
As for the class 3 solid petrol fuel, any old class3 will do as none of the stats it has make any difference.

I put the extra points into HAM costs.
