Hello all
Sorry again about the double post.. I am looking for some items and need to know who and where their dropped.. I know the deathwatch drops the items for the d-10.. but what about other weapons, featherweight pistol is one, and any other special weapons. I would also like to know where is a good place to get containers dropped.
Also since starting weaponsmith I have some questions about how to get more damage out of weapons, since i am not even near master I would like to know for furture sake. akala bones? spelled wrong i am sure,, where to get those and what animal loot do i need.. rancor teeth, dragon scales i think.. so any help is good..
and what is a base guidline to price weapons unsliced and then sliced
thanks

There's a link in the Weaponsmith FAQ that I think will answer most, if not all of your questions. You may find it here:

Hey.. as previous poster said, going through the FAQ in sticky section is a really good way to start. However, I'll drop a few pointers for you here as well:
Melee enhancers (these are only a few, but probably the ones you'll encounter the most)
- Acklay Bone - replaces reinforced core, mostly in Stun Batons and Powerhammers. Drops off Acklay in the Geonosian Cave on Yavin. Standard Stats are 65/65 for these. For a PH they'd give 5.8 163-500 stats
- Rancor Teeth - drops off (duh) Rancors (any). Standard state are 5/50 +1.0 spd. These replace Sword Cores, and really aren't worth the effort unless you get them with at least 100+ max dmg.
- Geonosian Sword and Reinforced Cores. They drop frequently off any NPC in the Geonosian Cave, and are used as enhancers versus their respective crafted counterparts. Mostly, they aren't better than what you can craft yourself, but sometimes they are.
- Schematics for above mentioned cores. You can also loot the schematic, which you can craft into cores yourself. You need geonosian cubes for this as well, and you should use agents on top of that, for better stats.
- Geonosian Cubes (yellow for dmg, red for ham, green for condition and white for deletion). They drop off all NPCs in Geo Cave.
And then the ranged:
- Krayt Tissue - the most common and used enhancer for ranged weaponry. Drops off all Krayts. Base stats are 30dmg -.3 spd.
- Gorax Bone Shard - Pretty hard to come by. Used to enhance 1/3 of the ranged weaponry. stats are about the same as krayt tissue
- Spider Fangs - will replace gorax bone shards if need be.
- Various ranged loot around the galaxy.. It is mostly crap, but once in a while you come across some excellent stuff. Know the stats of your own stuff, so you can delete or keep on the fly

About dmg, you should just mind, that you use the bst resources you can get. It is the key to good weapons. Sure loot will enhance it. But if you enhance an already badly crafted weapon, you won't get the results and the feedback you could. Use good resources, and always be on the lookout for more.
Regarding pricing, I'd say you should figure a base Credit Per Unit (CPU) for your weapons. And of course, add on top of that, any enhancers you throw in there. For custom orders, add a little bit extra, because you are basically "wasting" time running around doing small factory runs, or just crafting wherever.
Hope this helps.
