Can anyone confirm that yellow barrels truely are better than white? Some have told me they are, some have said that it doesn't matter.
I know that some things drop with yellow letters but there is nothing really special about it. BH Armor comes to mind.
How can you tell if barrel has hidden stats? Could a lot of it depend on meterials, assembly and experimentation?
When it comes down to it, if yellow is better, what would the difference be between a completed DE 10 using a tellow and a DE 10 using a white barrel stat wise?

The BH armor I've looted, that had yellow lettering, all had a stat that was, if not exceptionally different, then at least noticably different from the ones without yellow lettering. Mostly manifested in low enc stats. Same goes for most weapons looted with yellow lettering. Oftentimes it is low ham stats, or better range stats.

You can't. I have crafted my share of DE10s, and never once have I experienced something that would tell me: Yellow barrels are actually better than white ones. As far as I am concerned, they are the same. However, getting a customer to believe this is impossible. People refuse. So they are per definition more expensive.

Again, I doubt you'd ever find a difference. If they weren't so rare, if would be fun to experiment with the exact same subcomponents, resources, experimentation etc. etc. etc. Just to see if it were true or not. If I was mighty rich and didn't care one sec about money, I'd do it. But alas, I am not Hopefully, and again, just speculations, they will be fixed with CURB, so yellow lettered stuff will show a clear advantage over white lettered stuff. Who knows.. they may turn out better.

There is in fact a difference. Someone posted 3 DE-10s, 2 made with yellow barrels, one with white barrel and identical tissue etc. Yellows were approx 20 max better and one had something like 50% wound extra. Ive made a 90% wound de-10 with a yellow barrel so yes they do affect it.

I still doubt it. I've made DE10s with both the yellow and white barrel. Granted, they didn't use the same tissue, but I did notice the difference in the final blaster handler power, and it corresponded well to the final outcome of the DE10. The two pistols were within the same dmg and speed ranget, give or take. I didn't see a noticable difference.
Again, this could be because there are actually different stats for the yellow barrels, and perhaps I just got a bad one. I dunno... I guess we won't know for absolutely 100% foolproofed sure.

I'm going to be crafting 2 de-10s with identical tissue and both yellows later we'll see how they come out

Dood lol stop itching for our DE-10's they will come when we get the yellow barrels 
And i was allways under the impression that the barrels either helped range, damage or wound from 5% to 30% and u can only tell what by making them in the DWB

well i made 6 de10 last week 3 yellow 3 white. And the only real difference i had was 20 damage on a yellow one and 40% wound on a yellow one and anotherone had 5 ham less.....

Yellows do make a diffrence, and has been proven by tests already done. The bonus on the yellows can vary GREATLY from wound% to damage and sometimes speed. Either way if you are making a krayt DE-10 I recommend trying to find a yellow barrel.

Two circumstances, where the yellow barrels varried. My White Barrel DE-10s with Base Krayt Tissue are 298 Max.
+88 Krayt Tissues 375 Max
+106 Krayt Tissues 386 Max

Yeah I told him that, but its like waking up christmas day and being given the BEST PRESENT EVER, and then have to wait 2 days before getting the batteries to use it 
We have everything needed but the yellow barrels seemed to have disapered from our server, can ne one help out with what in the DWB drops them?
