DL44? As a Smuggler, I'd LOVE to find a kickin' DL44! My current one is much faster than standardand hasa better range, even before I sliced it. But, I'm curious... can you make one with special tissues (like kryat or something)? And how good can it be?
Thanks for the help!

BTW, while I'd love to buy the best DL44 out there, this is not a PLZ MAKE ME AN UBER GUN thread. I'm truly curious as to how good they can come. That way, I know what to look for. Thanks, guys. I hope this isn't the sort of post that ticks all of you off. If it is, I apologise in advance and won't ever do something like this again

You need to go to your server board for these kinds of requests.

The question is how good CAN they be made. Still for my server board?

Give the guy a break, jeez, yes krayt DL44s are possible, anything that has a power handler in the schematic can have a krayt tissue in it.

Thanks, Trean, that's all I wanted to know.
I just figured that the weaponsmith forum would be the best place to find out info about how weapons are made.

Yes, you can use Krayt tissue. However, each server has different resources. So the best DL44 on one server might not to the same as the best DL44 on your server.

Yes, because someone from another server might have had a really nice spawn on some resource that has only had an ok spawn leading to some poorer stats on YOUR server.
Cross-server questions rarely apply when it comes to stats. The best on our server might not approach the best on yours and vice versa.

I think he is asking:
If a weaponsmith had perfect materials, with every stat at 1000, what would be the highest possible damage before adding Krayt tissue? This is obviously an extrapolation but still a valid question.

Havent made a DL 44 in a while but you make it with one resource and note the stats. You then make it with a different resource note the difference and extrapolate. I believe the DL44 can be made with a single metal so it wouldnt be too hard.
A second way would be to note the experimental percentages and extrapolate to 100% experimentation.
Not an exact science but it would give a general range.
