have it take 7 points to max out a bar.

That would leave 3 points to "dabble" between the rest if you decide to completely max out one bar (and 5 points for the +20 exp WS)

it would keep the new system fairly competitive to the old system, and wouldn't really generate many (if any) complaints.

It would also support VARIETY among weapons ( my biggest problem with this change is it's going to remove ANY varience between crafted items by different players)

This would be something i think we could all accept...

Right now there is 3 major ways we can experiment... Max dmg/spd + HAM, Max dmg/spd + range, Max dmg/spd + Condition... After the 'change' all you will see is max damage/speed weapons...

Expect to sell more weapons however as the newer ones will miss their targets more, MOB's will take more shots to kill, both of these combining to drain weapons of condition... This in turn will continue to feed back upon itself causing the players to either hunt more to make more creds so they can buy more weapons or they will mine more materials to sell for higher prices so they can in turn buy more weapons (which will have skyrocketed in price due to higher resource costs)
