Still fairly new to this game, and I have a few questions I havent been able to find answers to. You all seem a fairly knowledgeable bunch, so I thought I would run em past you guys first. Apologies in advance if these have been listed/answered elsewhere.
Experimentation Points
As a MWS, I get 10 experimentation points. I understand that there are Skill Enhancement Attachments that are dropped and can be added to clothes/armour. Is there a maximum upper limit to the number of experimentation points you can have?
Further to the issue of experimentation, Would it improve the quality of my weapons if I experimented close to a private crafting station as opposed to the droid I am currently using? I have noticed that with the droid I tend to get great or moderate success much more often than amazing success. Would this ratio change at all if I was using a private crafting station?
I have heard talk of a "Weaponsmith Crafting Tool", a schematic that gives bonuses to experimentation, repair etc. Where might I find out more information about this, such as a start NPC etc?

The maximum amount of experimentation points that you can have is 12, so to reach that you'll need a total of +20 in experimentation skill mods.
As to crafting stations, the droid stations have a scale with a max value of +10 I think it is, and the stand-alone stations have a max of +45. That's not to say a droid station is lower quality, they just have a different scale, so a +10 droid station is supposedly equal to a +45 stand-alone station. The main problem is that you can't see the quality of the crafting station in the droid, you'd have to ask the DE who made it. Now supposedly a higher quality crafting station should get you better results, but the results seem to vary so greatly that I don't really see a big difference (though i still use my +42.78 station whenever possible
As to the Weaponsmith Crafting Tool, what i've heard is that's it's a reward for one of the missions in the rebel theme park, but i've not confirmed this myself. A tailor is able to craft this, you might find more info on their profession board.
