I was told by a weaponsmith that for crafting weapons you had to do alot of "planet hopping" to get various reources need for making weapons. For someone thats just starting out in this profession how could they afford to planet hop and also be protected on these hostile planets. If I was just to use resources from tatooine could I still make the weapons and if so how much will the quality of the weapon suffer?

Any advice would be great
